FIRST AID
The unit of competency HTLAID011 Provide First Aid provides you with the vital knowledge and skills that is needed to administer medical help and assistance. In many industries it is mandated to have a current first aid certificate, such as security officer, construction, hospitality etc. (If you are in the education or care setting, you will need to complete HLTAID012 – Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting).
CPR
The unit of competency HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) provides students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies.
